industry.Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced
Heavy Civil Construction Project Manager to join their team in
Napa, California. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5
years of experience in successfully managing heavy road, highway,
bridge, and/or utility projects. As a Project Manager, you will be
responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution,
ensuring timely and cost-effective completion while maintaining the
highest standards of quality and safety.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of heavy civil
construction projects, including roads, highways, bridges, and
utilities.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans to ensure
successful project delivery.
- Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as
necessary to meet project goals.
- Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and other
stakeholders to ensure project specifications and requirements are
met.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee project activities and
ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Manage project resources, including labor, equipment, and
materials.
- Prepare and present project status reports to clients and
senior management.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving any issues that
arise during project execution.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors,
suppliers, and team members.Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing heavy civil
construction projects, specifically in roads, highways, bridges,
and/or utilities.
- Proven track record of successfully completing projects on time
and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and
industry standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal
skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work
under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a
