Regional Maintenance Specialist - Northern, CA East BayPosition Overview:The Regional Maintenance Specialist will support our senior living communities across the portfolio in Northern California.Responsibilities:The Regional Maintenance Specialist is responsible for serving as a Maintenance Director in the absence of a community's Maintenance Director. This position involves planning, organizing, developing, performing, and directing the general operating maintenance, repair, and housekeeping of the physical plant, both interior and exterior, to maintain proper operations of the property. Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the general operations of the maintenance and housekeeping departments to ensure that the property is maintained in a safe, clean, and comfortable manner in accordance with property policies and procedures.
• Hiring, evaluating, coordinating, motivating, monitoring performance, scheduling, and supervising department staff.
• Making recommendations to the Executive Director regarding staff evaluations, merit pay increases, reprimands, disciplinary actions, and terminations.This position may require travel throughout the state of California and will travel extensively in the Northern California market. The right candidate will reside in Northern California.Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two (2) years' experience in residential maintenance and/or housekeeping, handling upkeep, repair, and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, and structural matters preferred.
• Knowledge of building construction, budgeting, expense management, preventative maintenance software, and basic computer skills required.
• At least one (1) year experience supervising and managing employees preferred.Pay Range: $80k - $85kBenefits:
