Job Title: Mechanical Drafting
Location: Tracy, CA
Shift Time: 1st Shift
Duration: 4+ Months

This is a Full Time, Contract opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
Create accurate technical drawings, blueprints, and 3D models based on engineering specifications.
Collaborate with engineers to interpret project requirements and address design challenges.
Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design modifications. Keeping up with version and revisions changes so the most up-to-date documentation and specifications are available.
Calculate dimensions, tolerances, and materials required for projects.
Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
Maintain project documentation and organize design files for easy reference.
Hands-on support of production teams by providing detailed specifications, drawings, aids and guidance during machining, assembly and/or manufacturing.
Perform quality checks on drawings to identify and resolve inconsistencies or errors.

Qualifications/Education:
Associate's degree or diploma in Mechanical Drafting, CAD, or a related field.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in mechanical drafting or design.

Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor). SolidWorks is preferred.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical documents.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
