Job Description:
A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist
responsible for managing billing and claims processes in a
dermatology setting.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and resolve claim denials with minimal assistance
Follow up on unpaid claims and prepare necessary documentation for
payers
Maintain accurate patient medical information and communicate
accounts receivable issues to management
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School graduate or equivalent
Education in medical billing or medical billing certification
preferred
Experience with Mod Med/EMA practice management system is a
plus
Understanding of revenue cycle principles, accounts receivables,
and denial management
Ability to maintain confidentiality of medical information
