Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coordinator, P2P Appeals.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and conduct Peer to Peer calls with payers and Medical
Directors
Document information from payer calls and manage account status in
multiple databases
Provide support for case entry, Peer to Peer processes, and appeals
within the department
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree
preferred
Call center experience preferred
Understanding of denials processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and
Commercial/Managed Care is a plus
Prior experience with hospital EMRs and Payer Portals preferred
Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with accurate keyboard skills
(minimum 30 wpm)
