LanceSoft is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job
in Antioch, California.Job Description & Requirements

18:00)
Position Overview
This role requires flexibility to work during days, evenings,
nights, and weekends.
The CT Technologist performs high-quality CT scans and assists with
CT-guided procedures.
They must have strong critical thinking skills, knowledge of
cross-sectional anatomy and physiology, radiation safety,
venipuncture, and safe use of contrast media and related
medications.
The role includes operating advanced imaging equipment and ensuring
patient safety and comfort during procedures.
The technologist ensures accurate documentation, image storage, and
professional communication.
They work with patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly,
including critically ill patients, while adhering to
age-appropriate care standards.
Accurate charge documentation is also required.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality CT exams as per physician orders and
protocols.
Prepare and protocol exams based on clinical history and
guidelines.
Administer medications safely, including contrast media.
Document care accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Assess and educate patients before CT exams to ensure safety and
cooperation.
Use PACS systems for storing, retrieving, and transmitting
images.
Education Requirements
Completion of a Joint Commission-approved Radiologic Technology
program.
Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences (preferred).
Certifications & Licenses
ARRT (Radiography)
ARRT (CT)
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
Venipuncture Certification
IV Certification
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Radiology Fluoroscopy Certification (within 180 days of hire)
Preferred Experience
Previous work in an acute care setting is preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and technical imaging
factors.
Proficiency in using PACS and other computerized systems.
Understanding and compliance with Federal, State, and local
regulations.
Patient Care
The role involves providing care to patients of all ages, ensuring
their physical and emotional needs are met, and maintaining safety
throughout procedures.
