  • Job Details
  • This position will work days, evenings and/or nights and weekends.
  • The CT Technologist coordinates and produces quality computerized tomography (CT) studies and assists in CT guided procedures.
  • The technologist must demonstrate and exercise critical thinking skills, knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy/physiology, radiation safety, venipuncture, and safe medication administration, specific to contrast media and adjunct medications.
  • The technologist is responsible for the safe operation of sophisticated imaging and ancillary equipment to produce quality CT procedures.
  • The CT Technologist ensures accurate documentation and image transmission and storage, professional and effective communication, and demonstrates knowledge of age-appropriate criteria when working with all patients, which include high risk and critically ill patients.
  • Responsible for accurate charge capture and documentation.
  • Population served includes neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatrics.

    • ARRT - CT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire
    • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire
    • IV Certification Upon Hire
    • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire
    • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire
    • Tech Cert Verification - National (Required within 30 days of start)
    • State License 1 Verification (Primary source online verification required within 30 days of start)
    • NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) - Required within 30 days of start
    • IV Certification (LVN/LPN/Other) - may be required for some MRI and CT Techs

      • This position will work days, evenings and/or nights and weekends.
        • Additional Details
        • Previous experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
