Job Description:
A company is looking for a Registration Representative
responsible for managing patient registration and insurance
information.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and update patient demographics and insurance information in
IDX billing software
Identify patient insurance and assign appropriate Financial Status
Classification (FSC)
Complete TES edits, claim edits, and rejections in a timely manner
to meet departmental metrics
Required Qualifications
Knowledge of billing and insurance procedures
Understanding of payer types for medical insurance carriers
Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in medical billing and insurance guidelines
preferred
