What You Can Expect
ENGIE is hiring a Student Intern to work for West County
Wastewater's Office of the General Manager. This position is
created by a partnership with West County Wastewater (WCW) and
ENGIE through the Clean & Green Project, a multi-year upgrade
project at the Water Quality Resource & Recovery Plant in
Richmond.
This student internship program will employ a multi-faceted
learning program and creates an opportunity for you to apply your
academic preparation to practical work experience in
communications. You will work a hybrid schedule from WCW's Water
Quality & Resource Recovery plant in Richmond, CA. This internship
is for the Spring semester from January 2025 to March 2024.
You will gain experience in marketing, social media work, and
community outreach. There will also be public speaking, research,
and copyediting. You will assist the Communications Manager, travel
within the district to visit work sites, WCW's Water Quality &
Resource Recovery plant.
What You'll Bring
Must be enrolled at a local university or junior college. This
position is suited for students in STEM programs or studying
Environmental Sciences, Communications, Graphic Design, or
Communications programs or pathways
Additional Details
Compensation
Hourly Range: $21.00-34.00 USD hourly
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified
candidate.
Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry
knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide
factors.
