We are looking for a Rolling Stock Digital Transformation &
Automation Intern. This position will be based at our Sacramento
area branch located in California.
As our Digital Transformation & Automation Intern, you will
experience a start-up atmosphere within a mature organization that
will give you broad insights into our business and how we drive
digital transformation with innovative solutions. As part of your
internship, you will have the opportunity to engage in process
consulting, tool training, developing and operating solutions.
During your internship, you will have the opportunity to engage in
the development and operation of solutions, help design training
courses and provide process consulting. Do important pioneering
work and use your skills to help further strengthen the foundations
of our success.

A little bit about us!
Siemens Mobility provides efficient and coordinated transportation
of people and goods by rail - including rolling stock, rail
automation, rail electrification, and service. We craft and
manufacture across the entire spectrum of rolling stock, including
commuter and regional passenger trains, light rail and streetcars,
metros, locomotives, passenger coaches, and high-speed trainsets.
Cities and Railroads also rely on us to provide traction-power
substations and electricity transmission, as well as signaling and
control technology for freight and passenger rail and transit
systems.
How does Digital Transformation & Automation play into the big
picture?
As an incubator for digital transformation our team is focused on
developing innovative solutions and supporting the workforce
transformation through training. Depending on your skills and
interests, you will be involved in conceptual work, implementation
of PoCs and the full development cycle of process automations (RPA,
ETL), applications (Mendix), and more.

Who Should Apply?
--- Availability: 40 hours per week from June to August
--- Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized for
employment in the United States without the need for current or
future employer-sponsored work authorization
--- Prior internship or co-op experience (preferred) with a
preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0
You'll benefit from:
The hourly pay range for this position is $22 - $26 per hour, based
off of your projected graduation year. The actual wage offered may
be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience,
knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into
our 401K program.
