  • The Clinical Nurse (RN) has the responsibility, accountability, and the authority to deliver safe, effective, quality, excellent nursing care according to the philosophy and goals/objectives of the Department of Nursing.
  • The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for all patients assigned to his/her care.
  • Utilizes Jean Watson's Theory of Caring and Relationship Based Care in nursing practice.
  • Supports the mission, vision, values and expectation of excellence of the organization.

    • Current California RN License
    • BLS Certification
    • Completion of annual organizational requirements for employment.
      • Schedule Information
      • Contract Length: 90 days
      • Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills required.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Utilizes effective communication skills to facilitate safe patient hand offs.
        • Documents nursing care per hospital policies.
          • Additional Details
          • Physical Effort: Requires lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and fine motor skills.
