Using Jean Watson's Theory of Caring and Relationship-Based Care, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care while collaborating with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include developing care plans, performing essential nursing skills, educating patients, and adapting care based on patient responses. The RN ensures safe equipment use, delegates tasks appropriately, and advocates for patient needs. Strong communication, physical capability, and adherence to hospital policies are essential.
