• Employment Type: Local ContractTRA Nuclear Med Tech TRA is Tenet's in-house nationwide contingent pool for Nursing and Allied travel and local contracts. Receive a greater level of Contract security compared to an outside agency. The Nuclear Med Tech, performs basic Nuclear Medicine procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing healthcare services, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Is skilled in the area of Nuclear Medicine. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.BENEFITS- Guaranteed hours for Travel Contracts- Preferred Booking Agreement for Local Contracts - Weekly Pay- Holiday Pay- Contract Security compared to a contract with an outside agencyMINIMUM EDUCATIONFormal two year radiologic technology training in AMA approved school which meets requirements for registry by the ARRT or a graduate of a school of nuclear medicine.PREFERRED EDUCTIONBS is Radiology (Nuclear Medicine) or equivalentMINIMUM EXPERIENCE 2 years in Diagnostic Nuclear MedicineREQUIRED CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE- State License (If Required) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine or- Nuclear Medicine Technology Certificate (NMTCB)- CPR-Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Our Hire Process- We do qualify our clinicians to meet or exceed the minimum requirements of a travel or local assignment.
