Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coding & Billing Specialist to join
their clinical documentation team.
Key Responsibilities
Appropriately codes services, procedures, diagnoses, and
treatments, ensuring accuracy for billing
Reviews clinical documentation for completeness and accuracy, using
medical terminology
Educates team members on proper code selection and documentation
procedures, and prepares and submits claims for payment
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Medical coder certification (CPC or CCS)
4+ years of experience as a medical billing and coding specialist
using an EHR system
Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding guidelines
Proficiency in medical terminology and ability to interpret medical
procedures
