  • A hospital near Sacramento is looking for experienced Cardiac Telemetry nurses for a travel contract.
  • The right candidate will have 2 years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, NIH and CA License.

    • 2 years of experience
    • Active BLS certification
    • Active ACLS certification
    • Active NIHSS certification
    • Active California License
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift starts at 6:45 AM
      • Report is at the bedside
      • Self-scheduling is used, but is not finalized until Manager balances it
      • Schedules are out 4 weeks
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
      • Holidays: Rotate in with core staff
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Pre and post Cath Lab, CP observation
        • Is this a pre/post op area for cath lab/EP and IR? Yes
        • Do travelers need pre-op experience? No pre-op experience required, training provided if needed
        • Assuming no call if there is no holiday or weekend requirement: No Call, Weekends or Holidays
        • Are there tele techs watching tele patients? Yes, we have a UA/MT that helps monitor along with the nurses
          • Additional Details
          • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; Med Sol prescreens/auto offer & manager has 24 hrs to rescind
          • Need 2 supervisor references (charge accepted) at submittal; 1 within 12 months & 1 within 3 years worked
          • Modules are required to be completed before start; Modules take 3-4 hours - not billable
          • Candidates may not have been directly employed by any facility associated with CommonSpirit within the past year
          • Prior to acceptance, the Dys exam through Relias or UNA required along with acceptance; must be completed within 24-48 hours
