team is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to work alongside
our Global Integrated Marketing Team and support all integrated
marketing efforts to launch and sustain our tentpole NBA 2K
franchise. This role is integral in creating groundbreaking
campaigns that define NBA 2K's brand impact and relevance. The
ideal candidate should be passionate about basketball, sports,
video games, and pop culture. The ideal candidate will have the
ability to work on-site at our facilities in Novato, CA. Los
Angeles, CA is a potential location with frequent travel to the Bay
Area.What You Will DoCampaign Strategy & Execution:
- Work alongside the Global Integrated Marketing Team, and be
responsible for driving GTM strategy and execution for the NBA
business.
- Assist in the development of NBA 2K media planning and
execution with our external agency and internal teams, focusing on
the US and CA.
- Lead and assist in building integrated marketing plans that
target specific audiences through unique and innovative content,
consumer journeys, and experiences.
- Develop materials for pitching big ideas focused on strategy,
audience, product, and ROI.
- Drive NA media deliverables, activations, and big ideas across
the NBA BU/2K to ensure perfect execution.
- Take a lead role in the briefing process for both internal and
external creative needs.
- Contribute to the development of the NA retail marketing plan
in collaboration with the Channel Marketing team.Cross-Functional
Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively across External Partners, Brand, Product,
Social, Licensing, GTM, Dev, IT etc. teams to develop integrated
plans and activations that raise awareness around product
differentiation and drive brand relevance.
- Manage day-to-day communications, work flows, and relationships
with our media agency, key external partners, and internal
performance media teams.
- Liaise between Media, Channel, and Creative teams to build
brand assets for paid media & retail campaigns within required
timelines.
- Assist in educating and growing the team's media & activation
knowledge and help keep us apprised of major updates and
opportunities across the sports and gaming landscape.Data &
Insights:
- Partner with Insights, Growth, Player Connections, External
Media Agency, and Regional Marketing teams to mine data and gain
insight into consumer behaviors in each market.
- Develop ROI reports and post mortems that deliver learnings for
future efforts.
- Be a true expert on our products, our consumers, our
competitors, and culture. This will greatly contribute toward being
successful in this role and gaining influence.
- Responsible for trafficking creative assets from internal teams
to our external agency, partners, and internal teams to meet
campaign deadlines.
- Assist in management of NBA marketing budgets and billing
process, including POs, invoicing, IOs, and legal agreements.
- Proactively optimize processes and best practices to aid
efficiency of internal and external relationships and work
cycles.Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit
- 3-5+ years of marketing experience working for a consumer brand
on brand-side or account management agency side for high
functioning brands.
- Experience executing large scale paid media campaigns with
media agency/internal media teams.
- Strong understanding of 360 integrated marketing to be able to
collaborate with and influence our organization.
- Excellent at managing budgets, POs, and tracking marketing
spends.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and a commitment to detail,
with an ability to manage multiple projects seamlessly.
- A forward-thinking creative, unafraid to push boundaries with
fresh ideas.
- A collaborative team player, ready to navigate a dynamic
ever-changing environment and excel in a matrixed organization.

- Strong communicator, able to create relationships across the
organization and lead meetings/presentations.
- Passion for NBA, Sports Culture, and Video Games. Knows NBA 2K
well.
- Proactive, self-starter, able to take ownership over tasks and
carry them throughout to the end.Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in games marketing.
- Familiarity with live content production, early dev builds, and
working with talent.
- Experience in a North America or US-focused marketing role.As

in California at the start of employment is expected to be between
$91,100 and $134,840 per Year. However, base pay offered is based
on market location and may vary further depending on individualized
factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills,
experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to
those same considerations, the total compensation package for this
position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or
equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial,
and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit
plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of
employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and
the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as
any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program)
