Volt is immediately hiring for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Assistant in Willows, CA.

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Mechanic Assistant to support our maintenance team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

As a Maintenance Mechanic Assistant, you will:

Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist industrial mechanics in performing routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Help diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
Support the repair or replacement of defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
Conduct regular inspections under the guidance of senior mechanics to identify potential problems.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

The ideal candidate will have:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in industrial mechanics is a plus.
Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and take direction from senior mechanics.

This is a full-time opportunity.

Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday

$28.00/hr.
