Job Description:
A company is looking for a Financial Counselor to assist
patients with program eligibility and application processes.
Key Responsibilities
Screen patients for program eligibility and communicate
findings
Assist patients in completing applications and coordinate with
involved parties
Accurately collect and input patient eligibility and status
information into the system
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of experience in hospital admitting, eligibility, or
financial counseling
Working knowledge of Federal, State, and County eligibility
programs preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Knowledge of MS4 is helpful
